Vision America and the BugBoy

The Carpet Bagger Report has an interesting commentary on the Vision America workshop that was held last week. It seems Tom "BugBoy" DeLay is now claiming to be a martyr.
Yea right, the poor poor dear. Never mind that he was the one to bring this on himself. Yet he still can't admit to doing anything wrong. He's just such an innocent little lamb, he doesn't even know he's lost his way.
Gee, what would Jesus do about BugBoy?
Would he agree with the Reichwing?
Would he embrace their concept of christianity?
Would he try and drive wedge issues between mankind?
Would he approve of their using the pulpit to preach hate and intolerance?
Or would he drive the money lenders out of the Temple yet again?
Would he condemn or condone their actions?
Well I say sacrifice the lamb: Below is a song I remember from when I use to go to church.
Would you be free from the burden of sin?
There's power in the blood, power in the blood;
Would you over evil a victory win?
There's wonderful power in the blood.
Would you be free from your passion and pride?
There's power in the blood, power in the blood;
Come for a cleansing to Calvary's tide;
There's wonderful power in the blood.
Words & Music by Lewis E. Jones, 1899
Jones wrote this song at a camp meeting at Mountain Lake Park, Maryland.
