Just Say No To Alito

© 2006 Com•Log•ic

Alito is Wrong for America, Wrong for the Supreme Court, and Wrong for the Law of the Land.

The Repubs have constantly decried activist judges, well Sam Alito is an Activist judge if I ever saw one, and does not believe in the Constitution. We don't need more people on the Supreme Court who do not understand the Constitution, and what the framers had in mind when they wrote it.
The framers knew people like the ones in the Bush Regime would try and make a power grab. That is why they made sure that we had a "Bill of Rights" and provisions and safeguards to remove these people from power, so as to protect the people of these Unites States from the rule of tyranny and dictatorships.

George W. Bush has said on more than one occasion that he wishes this were a dictatorship, as long as he was the dictator. With Alito on the bench, Bush will be closer to his desire. We the people should be very worried if Alito is confirmed. Because the Madness of king Boy George Bush will continue to wreck havoc on every citizen in America.

Of course if he is confirmed and whenever a Democrat wins back the White House perhaps we can hope that GW finds himself the victim of his own doing and the new president throws him and all his cronies in Gitmo, for wars against humanity!

We can dream also, can't we?

We can dream, but a riggable, hackable election systems being put into place all over the country, we can no longer assume that their will ever be a shift in power through elections.

About Alito, progressives seem to be choking on a fur ball of right-wing rhetoric, and we need to cough it up right now and demand a filibuster . Here are the toll-free numbers for the Senate:

That is very true about the rigging of elections, case in point 2000 and 2004. And if Alito is sitting on the bench any Repub could contest an election straight to the Supreme Court ala Bush v Gore, and well we all pretty much know how they would rule.
Thanks for posting the phone numbers to call. I have the power to add them to my blog, which I will do right now.
