Abramoff "The Godfather"

I thought it only appropriate to include a quote from Jack's favorite movie "The Godfather", which I altered just a wee bit to give it an update flair.

Casino Jack's plea should snare a bunch of GOPers, but it should also focus on his other various activities.
Citizens for America, International Freedom Foundation, Capital Athletic Foundation (this was Jack's charity, which he funneled money through so as to fund the Israelis), American International Center (this was Scanlon's charity he set up to funnel money), Kay Gold, another Abramoff family company.

What is his connections to all of these past events in our history?

Abramoff was in frequent contact with Marine Lt. Col. Oliver L. North, the Reagan White House's Iran-contra mastermind, about grass-roots efforts to lobby Congress for the Nicaraguan contras.

Jonas Savimbi, the Angolan rebel leader, Abramoff organized a "convention" of anticommunist guerrillas from Laos, Nicaragua and Afghanistan in a remote part of Angola. Afterward, Lehrman fired Abramoff amid a dispute about the handling of the group's $3 million budget.

He even turned up as a representative of the Pakistani military when Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto went to Washington in 1995 to seek the return of $600 million the Islamabad government had paid for 28 F-16 fighters.

Does Jack Abramoff have any connections to funding Terrorist?
He apparently doesn't have a problem hanging out with suspicious/shady characters.
