Spying A-OK Says Prez

© 2005 Com•Log•ic

So, the Bush regime thinks it's alright to spy on US citizens without getting the authorized and required search warrants. Bush cited 9-11, nine times; terrorist attacks, nineteen times during his radio address.

His very own special reminder to us,
9-11, 9-11, 9-11, 9-11, 9-11, 9-11, 9-11, 9-11, 9-11, 9-11, 9-11, 9-11!

We get it, already.

Just because you incite 9-11 (everything's changed routine), (which is getting old), doesn't mean you can do whatever you want.
Just because you are the commander and chief doesn't mean you can make up the law as you go along, it doesn't mean you can break the law.

What do you think the reaction would be if this had happened on Clinton's watch?
Would everybody be content that he was behaving like this just because he was commander and chief?
Would the NY Times sit on a story for over a year, because the White House asked them too?
How do we know who they are really spying on, the so-called anti-Bush crowd (is it any wonder they are anti-Bush), the Quakers, anti-war protesters, Move-On, you get the picture?

Oh by the way, he could get the authorization within hours after asking for one.
