Friends in High Places

It must be nice to have friends in high places to tip you off when the Feds are about to suspend your clients contracts, by providing you with "sensitive and confidential information."
And apparently that's exactly what David Safavian, (chief procurement official within the Bush Regime), did for Jack Abramoff concerning Tyco International, and four of its subsidiaries.
Not only did Safavian tip off Abramoff, he also provided him with information with how to approach the suspension and what arguments Tyco should make concerning an appeal.
Wow, how lucky for Tyco to replace the top management and then be able to make their appeal, so they wouldn't lose their precious federal contracts. How convenient.
Do you think there are other Companies who get this much insider information to avoid prosecution?
How many more, I would hate to even wager what those numbers would be like?
We all know how much the Bush Regime loves the Corporate Elite.
Do you think Halliburton would benefit from this kind of information?
We all know that Cheney would protect his beloved Halliburton. He would have another heart attack if he thought they might have to be held accountable.
After all he's all in favor of "creative accounting" as he likes to call it, when it comes to "Cooking the Books", like when he was the CEO. He even bragged about it on national television. But did anyone make a big deal out of it? No they did not. It didn't concern a stained "Blue Dress", so why should the public be concerned?
The Abramoff scandal is just the tip of the iceberg. Eventually We the People will know how the Bush Regime has only been willing to help the Corporate Elite. The working class doesn't even register on their radar.
